Our Merino wool tee has structure and abrasion resistance on the shouldering. Over time, even though merino wool shirts don’t take on stink, they stretch out unnecessarily. If you want to wear the same shirt for a week, you can do that but works better when it’s still got some structure to it.
Under the load of a heavy rucksack, cloth begins to stretch.To counter this, instead of a high blend of nylon, we added a layer of our Indestructible training fabric to the shoulder and elbow area that won’t pill under any circumstances. Along with this abrasion resistance, this layer also provides additional structure to help the shirt hold its shape under long periods of stress.
Merino wool is a natural material, it doesnt come from man made plastics or synthetics. Its lightweight, breathable and soft to the touch. It wicks away moisture and odors, and it helps regulate body temperature.
